Rena Effendi ;

Rena Effendi is an Azerbaijani photographer. Her work focuses on themes of environment, post-conflict society, the effects of oil industry on people, and social disparity. As of 2011, she is based in Cairo, Egypt. She began photographing in 20011 and became a full-time photographer in 2005 after quitting her job as an Economic Development Specialist at the United States Agency for International Development in Baku. Her work has been published with many official newspapers. 

Favorite Picture ;

This is my favorite picture because of how clear it looks and how the color green looks so lively. It draws a lot of attention to it and makes you look at all the leaves but once you look closer you see the stuff in the background and kind of see it but you really mainly pay attention to the leaves. I also think this is my favorite picture because of the color green. My favorite color is green and I love the color especially when it's a natural pure green. From the leaves on the branches to the grass on the floor, It's a beautiful color, and this is also my favorite picture. 

Art Wolfe ;

Art Wolfe is an American photographer and conservationist, best known for color images of wildlife, landscapes and native cultures. His photographs document scenes from every continent and hundreds of locations, and have been noted by environmental advocacy groups for their stunning visual impact. Wolfe has released more than 65 photo books and instructional videos of photographic techniques. Wolfe was born in 1951, and he's 65 years old and resides in Seattle, Washington.

Nature Shots ;

We took a bunch of pictures outside and of nature. Nature is naturally beautiful so you don't need to alter any pictures unless you really want to. It's under appreciated by many people and that's bad because the earth is what gives us most of our resources and sometimes we take it for granted. I like when it's a warm sunny day but also windy and then going to the park or lake to walk around it's beautiful. Well I enjoyed taking pictures it was fun and cool.

William Henry Jackson ;

William Henry Jackson (born April 4, 1843)  he was an american painter as well as many other things like civil war veteran, geological survey photographer and an explorer famous for his images of the American West. He was a great-great nephew of Samuel Wilson, the progenitor of America's national symbol Uncle Sam. Jackson moved to Washington, D.C. in 1924, and produced murals of the Old West for the new U.S. Department of the Interior building. He also acted as a technical adviser for the filming of Gone with the Wind. In 1942, Jackson died at the age of 99 in New York City. Recognized as one of the last surviving war veterans. 

Tension Shots Blog ;

I liked doing the Tension shots assignment because it was fun seeing how the pictures came out after just doing random things. Me and my boyfriend took a lot of pictures and they turned out good, he's a good model because he doesn't care what he has to do, he'll do it. I'm not a good model because i'm shy and don't really like taking pictures of my face or anything. I did a good job at actually taking the pictures though, He said he would run and then I would just wouldn't let go of the button so it can  snap a lot of photos.  

Raymond Thompson Jr. ;

Raymond Thompson Jr. is a photographer, video journalist, educator, and father. He takes great moving pictures of a lot of people that have troubles with the law or their parents. This photo is a detention center in New Orleans that houses a bunch of kids that are waiting for their trials for committing a delinquent offense.
