Henry Cartier-Bresson was born August 22, 1908 and he died August 3, 2004. He was a French photographer, considered to be the father of modern photojournalism, an early adopter of 35 mm format, and the the master of candid photography. He helped develop the "street photography" style that has influenced generations of photographers that followed. He took very beautiful pictures, and in my opinion was an amazing photographer. He died of natural causes at the age of 95.
